- Independent - As a child, I'm pretty sure I was mad at my mom for practicing "tough love", but now that I'm older, I could not be more relieved that she did. I think the most important thing she taught me and the most important trait that I possess, is independence. I lived a long time on my own and had to do things for myself that normally a guy would do, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm happy that I don't need to count on someone else to do something for me, nor do I have to call someone when things break or emergencies come up. Sometimes having such a strong sense of independence has it's negatives as well because sometimes I could use help doing things, but I've become so used to doing things on my own that I tend to be a little stubborn. If you want something done you've got to do it yourself, right?
- Loving - When it comes to my friends and family, I love with all that I have and in a way that I would expect to get in return; even if it's not always returned. I will do anything for the ones that I love and anything to make them happy because making others happy, makes me happy! It's so good to feel loved and I want to do that for them. I know that life gets so busy and crazy and we do not get to see each other nearly enough, but I will always love each and every one of my friends and family no matter what.
- Emotional - This one can be negative and positive all that the same time, but it's still something that I'm proud of. I can never hide my feelings and am the type of person that wears my emotions on my sleeve. When I'm mad, you know it. When I'm happy, you know it. When I'm sad, it shows. I think it's safe to say that there aren't many times where someone does not know how I feel (unless they live far away and our sole means of communication is texting). I never knew the love I could have for an animal until I had my dog, Max. Ever since , I have been the biggest baby when it comes to animals. I can't even watch those commercials about animals (you know the ones...with the sad Sarah McLachlan music) without tearing up. I was always a cat person until I had a dog of my own. And I'm even a little embarrassed to say that I've even thought of becoming a vegetarian because of how they treat cows and other animals. I'm a giant baby, when it comes down to it. But I"m not mad about it and am proud to have such strong emotions.
